Music and the Spoken Word

This morning I attended Music and the Spoken Word in the old tabernacle at Temple Square. As we sat there enjoying the music by the amazing Mormon Tabernacle Choir I was amazed at how many elderly couples there were there serving! Giving freely of their time and efforts to serve the Lord and the members of the church. It's incredible the service that is rendered so freely not only by those ushers and missionaries, but also by the choir members, the orchestra members, and the choir directors. Countless hours of service which I'm sure that to them is viewed merely as blessings and the opportunity to grow closer to our Heavenly Father.
It just added to my testimony and my appreciation for this incredible church!

Brian Regan moment

WINCO has come into town! There is now a Winco in Orem Utah and my friend and I needed to go grocery shopping so of course we went to Winco! We were so excited to be there because I LOVE Winco way more then anyone should ever love a grocery store! Upon checking out and talking to the cashier I had a "Brian Regan Moment" As the lady was handing me my receipt she says "Thanks for coming in!" and I said "Thanks! YOU TOO!"

YOU TOO?? NO! that's not what you're supposed to say! She works there! What's going to come out of my mouth next?! TAKE LUCK!

haha gotta love Winco and you really gotta love Brain Regan!!

6 weeks and counting....

This is it!
If I stay focused and don't sleep in and don't skip out for long lunch breaks and stay extra long at school and arrive early to school, I'll be done in 6 weeks! A month and a half and I can be done with hair school! That place that I love so much, it will be over! And then I can be social again because I won't have an 80 hr work week, it will drop to a 40 hr work week and I can visit my family again and go to California and go Home!
and lay out in the sun and stay up late (oh wait I already do that), and exercise, and go to the temple, and sleep in, and make crafts, and read, and go on picnics, and get bored! and all of those wonderful things you can do when you have time to breathe!

Oh it is going to be a wonderful summer....
