Happy St Patty's day!

I had training for work in Portland and ALMOST had to work this night but thankfully to one of my most fabulous stylists stayed for the rest of the shift so I didn't have to go in and cover. This lead to a very throw together mean for our Traditional St. Patty's Day Green Dinner at the Cook house! Michael and I are staying with the kids this weekend while my parents are in Idaho. (lots going on huh?!) So here are a couple of pictures....

Green Pasta, Pesto Sauce, Green Apples, Celery, Cucumbers, Pickles, Guacamole, Guacamole Chips, Green Jello, Limeade

With all the stresses of life and tragedies going on in the world
I'm happy to say that everyday I feel...

Banana Bread

After a very frustrating day at work I decided to do a little baking. I decided to make some chocolate chip banana bread and it was delicious!

Based off my Great Grandma Cook's recipie
1 1/2 cup sugar - 2 eggs well beaten - 2 cups flour - 1/2 cup butter - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 walnuts or chocolate chips - 1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)
Bake at least 30 minutes in 350' F You'll know that it's done when you wiggle the pan and the middle doesn't jiggle. Enjoy!
